Anika Turns One!

We celebrated Anika's first birthday with a small party. She enjoyed her cupcake and the attention.

Anika got a "baby" for her birthday and was very pleased and happy to give it hugs.

Our friend Julie and her family came over with gifts and also fun times. Look at that smile on Anika.

Carving Pumpkins

It was pumpkin carving night. We had fun making Zane's pumpkin. We forgot to take a picture of the finished product.

Happy Haloween

Here are our kid's in their halloween costumes. Anika was a skeleton and Zane was a "Mower Guy". Thanks to Gramme Mary Ellen for making Zanes shirt. He was the owner of Zane's Mowing Company. He had a mower bag for his candy. We planned to go downtown but I was out sick. Learn from me! Get your flu shot ASAP.

Ryan's ELK!

I got my first elk on Saturday AM. After all these years I'm a successful Elk hunter! I shot a large cow elk. It felt great and was a good experience. It was plenty of work too. I packed out all the quarters and hiked approx. 16 miles in one day. Kenny and Connie helped with the quartering and hiked out the rest of the meat. We have meat hanging and I provided for the family this winter! Thanks to my friend Kenny for all his help. Sorry for the poor quality pictures, all I had was an old disposable camera.

Fun Times

Zane and I went on a field trip to Carver Farms! I had fun with him and his classmates. We came home with pumpkins, gords and corn.

Uncle Tom came by for a visit. There is a new house being built. We enjoyed watching the pump truck do it's thing.

We had our annual fishing and football weekend with Doug Danser. We did not catch any fish but we had plenty of fun. Thanks Doug and Sean for the fun.

These guys were my hero's. After each touchdown they threw DingDongs and Twinkies into the crowed. Sean and I were lucky to get treats twice!

Ravalli Montana County Fair

We went to the Ravalli County fair to visit our Family the Montana McGrann's. We had a fun time doing all the activites and enjoyed seeing Garin and Randy auction off their pigs. The prices were a bit out of my league to bid but we had fun. Garin won Grand Champion Showmanship and Reserve Grand Champion in the Round Robin where you show 5 different animals.

BUSY Vacation!

Good times with Aunt Kelly.

My Mom says she is never on the blog.....well, here you go mom. She fell down and smashed her face pretty good. She was in good spirits though. I told everyone that Kelly did it to her.

We had a great time with my mom and Aunt Kelly. We spent 2 nights at the Snoqualimie Pass at the Byrne Cabin. We then went to see Ben and Gen's new property in Issaquah. From there we hit my Grandma Helen's 90th Birthday party. We hurried up and headed to Derek and Michele's wedding in Shelton, WA. We had a wonderful time but it was a long day!

Casebeer's Visit

Jan and Lon came up for a visit. Aunt Sarah and her two boys Nathan and Dawson came up too. We were busy with boat rides, playing games and a fun campfire. Thanks to them for making the trek up. We had fun.

First Day of School!!!!

Both kiddo's did well on their fist day. Both were happy and excited.

Date Night!

Holly and I celebrated our anniversery with a Date Night to the Michael Franti concert at the Festival at Sandpoint. We had a blast.
