Birthday Ski Day!

Holly set up for us to go skiing on Saturday with our friends Ryan and Trina. We hit Lookout Pass for awesome ski runs and good times.
Ryan and Trina drove which was a needed break for me. They set up ski movies on their DVD players and we ate donuts. I was in heaven! Thanks for the great day. PS: we had the beers after skiing, not before!

Family Ski Day

We made the trek to Silver Mountain for a family ski day. We had fresh snow and eager kids. This is us riding the gondola up the mountain.

After a half day of chasing Zane, Dad and Anika took a nap in the comfy lodge. Where is the couch?

Date Nights for Ryan and Holly

Well here is the latest family picture. We went to Higgens Point on a rainy day hike. Anika is now 15 months old and Zane is 4 1/2 years old.

Holly and I went to the Brad Paisley and The Band Perry Concert. We had a great time but it was a late night for us on a Thursday.

Yes, I own a cowboy hat. Holly thought it looked good.

We also had a ski date last week. It was a great time and we both enjoyed the snow and exercise.

New Years with Montana McGranns!

Happy New Year. We had fun with the Montana McGrann's on New Years Eve. I skied with Garin and Randy and then we met Mark and Tracey at the waterpark. Check out this picture of Mark. It's one of my favorites from this year. His sexy pose on the bridge. Thanks for coming and we had fun.

Christmas in Canada!

We went to Red Mountain in Canada for Christmas. We had fun with our friends the Larsen Family and spending a few days away.
The skiing was not great but we made the most of it. The kids enjoyed the snow and being outside. We hot tubbed and went to the hot springs.

We made sure Santa was happy when he showed up at our place. All of this was gone in the morning.

Zane skied 2 days and did really well!

Montana Football!

My friend Sean and I joined my cousins Garin and Randy for the University of Montana playoff game vs. N. Iowa. Sean and I made the quick trip over to Missoula and raced to the game. We had a great time and the Griz won big.

We had great seats.

G-Pa Russ and the culvert Project

Thanksgiving week was busy. Our culvert replacement project started and I worked all week helping out with the work. This picture shows the size of the new culvert....it's huge. Notice our house in the center of the culvert.
Grandpa Russ came up for Thanksgiving. We had a blast and he was a huge help. We had Elk for Thanksgiving dinner and also went to an NIC basketball game.
